<p>Afghan Women Association for Rehabilitation and Development (AWARD) is an Afghan Non- Governmental, Non-Political and not for Profit Organization dedicated to the Social, Civic and Economic integration of Afghan women, youth, person with disabilities and other vulnerable and marginalized population in Afghanistan. The Organization established in 1995 with the primary aim to provide basic humanitarian assistance to Internally Displaced People (IDPs), those who were imposed to leave their homes in result of internal war. As of its establishment at 1995 up to 2005 its essential focus paid to provide a basic support of food, drinking water and emergency medical support to IDPs and women led families as well as establishment of vocational training centers of Carpet weaving, Tailoring, Jam and pickle making to respond their daily basic needs. After its formal registration at Oct 13,2005 with the Ministry of Economy under license No. 97 , AWARD expanded its scope of work to other rehabilitative and developmental activities such as awareness raising at the aspects of gender, and legal rights, advocacy for human right, peace culture inspiration, conflict resolution trainings, literacy and numeracy, civic education, hygiene and health education, reintegration of returnees and IDPs at their communities for the aim of better help the depressed Afghan community at their legal, social and economic prospect.</p>

Complying with the Core Humanitarian Standards and its indicators, alongside the commitments listed in the Charter for Change, strengthening partners’ capacities, and forming a stronger partnership spirit in the humanitarian assistance field is of crucial value. This assignment will directly contribute to building the capacities of DKH Asia partner’s staff who are using QuickBooks Accounting Software on daily basis. To empower them with the practical skills that enable them to master utilizing the functions offered by the software and eventually improve the quality of the use of their time.</p>

<p>Founded in 2017, the House of Science &amp; Technology organization (HSTO) is the only standardized and modern science and technology center of its kind, with informed staff and standard level of competency in science and technology, currently operating in Afghanistan. HSTO was founded to promote STEM learning, enrich the current MoE curriculum, train teachers, promote science, and make learning science an exciting experience. HSTO works in six areas of science including physics, chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy and engineering. In its third year of existence as a not-for-profit organization, it is ready to reach out to more schools, students and teachers. In 2017, HSTO welcomed 500 students, 1,500 students in 2018, and in 2019 this number increased to 4,000 students. In August 2019, HSTO held the largest science fair in Afghanistan with 119 teams participating from 23 schools. </p>
