Help the Afghan Children - HTAC, is a non-profit, non-partisan, charitable organization was established in 1993 in response to the horrible conditions of Afghan families.
HTAC is registered with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economics as a national non-governmental organization. At HTAC we have been providing continuous educational and humanitarian support for Afghan families and communities for 19 years. We are committed to educating and empowering a new generation of Afghan children to become proud, productive citizens and future leaders of their country. We believe that investing in children is the best long-term strategy in ending Afghanistan’s cycle of conflict, poverty, ignorance, fear and neglect and to establish peace, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan and beyond its borders
HHRD Afghanistan (Regional Office of Helping Hand USA) got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in the Islamic republic of Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan.

Help the Afghan Children (HTAC), is a non-profit, non-governmental organization was established in 1993 in response to the horrible conditions of Afghan families she witnessed during Afghanistan’s civil war. HTAC is registered with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economics as a national non-governmental organization (registration # 261). HTAC is also member of ACBAR coordination body in Afghanistan.
HTAC is governed by an independent Board of Directors which sets the overall direction and priorities of the organization and its development programs. HTAC’s accounting system is in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Our main office is located in Kabul and our sub offices are established in Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, and Nangarhar provinces. Our geographic coverage is: Kabul, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Parwan and Nangarhar Provinces.
