Filing lawsuits on behalf of the government.
Defending the interests of the government in the courts.
Issuing preemptory rulings to the parties with financial disputes and claims originating from contracts between government organizations and joint companies.
The department cooperates with other departments and branches of MOJ and acts according to the directions of the Office of the Minister. Based on the provisions of the Law on State Cases, the main tasks of the Department of State Cases include defending the interests of the State in the courts, reconciliation, and issuance of reconciliatory decisions between the different government institutions
The Department of State Cases has permanent relations with all departments of the Ministry of Justice particularly the Central Hoqooq Department, Hoqooq Department of Kabul province and Taqnin Department. In terms of financial and real estate affairs, it has direct relations with Hoqooq Department of Kabul province.
Under the overall direction of the General Director and the head of the administration office, the incumbent will be responsible to manage the filling system and establish a database in MS office and make entries of all old and new cases at the Department of State Cases to make it easily accessible for the technical staff of the DGC.
