CPSDO / AREP Background:
Central Point Social Development Organization (CPSDO) is an independent, nongovernmental, non-political, non-for-profit organization registered with Ministry of Economy, Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. CPSDO founded by a strong, talented and creative team of professionals with expertise in Education, Health, Community Development, Child Protection, Research and Advocacy. Since its establishment, CPDSO is closely working with communities in all over Afghanistan, which helped CPDSO’s growth and strengthened to work in complex and continually changing environments.
Our community development projects support vulnerable people & communities in central, eastern and southern regions of Afghanistan through establishment of education centers, rehabilitation of schools, training and capacity building of skilled and unskilled labors and working with CDCs, we assist community advocacy of rule of law, girls education, child rights, child protection and establishment of basic response center at community levels as well working with key stakeholders in strengthening of child protection systems and mechanisms. CPSDO aims positively impacting Afghan society through education, awareness and case management of child rights, womens empowerment, capacity building activities, income generation support interventions, health and emergency response.
